• "Darling, you took so long with your makeup."
• Samuel had been sitting on the edge of the bed for a while. He was waiting for his wife, who seemed engrossed in front of the dressing table, surrounded by various cosmetics on her face. Waiting impatiently, Samuel finally voiced his protest. He got up and approached her.
• "Are you putting on makeup or painting the house? I've been waiting for almost half an hour, and you're not done yet," he complained.
