Chapter 18 A Problem
- Daniel paid attention to what happened, and he admired Jacob’s calmness. How the younger man managed and handled the unexpected things was praiseworthy. He liked Jacob more and was truly eager to keep him as his future son-in-law, despite him having a hard-to-deal mother.
- So he stared at Jacob. “If we find Emily, will you still want to marry her?”
