• Emily went to JJ’s Properties again with Harry. She wanted to know if Jacob was truly honest with her, so she didn’t call him to notify about her coming.
• Since it was lunch break, only a receptionist waited in the lobby. She stood and smiled at Emily. “Miss Brooke, it’s great to see you again. Want to see Mr. Jefferson?”
• Emily nodded and smiled a little. “Yes, but don’t tell him. I want to surprise him again.”
