• I gripped the wheel tighter, trying to keep my focus on the road instead of the woman sitting beside me. I'd been on the way to meet Damien for brunch when I had the thought to call Ruby. And thank God that I did. The thought of that bastard ex husband touching her was enough to heat me up with anger.
