Chapter 28

• Jane took a brief respite before noticing the sudden increase in sound on set. When she opened her eyes, Damien was right in front of her. She rubbed her eyes, wondering if she was dreaming.
• Hannah exclaimed, “Damien is here.”
• Jane glanced at Hannah and then at the door where Damien stood, dressed in a white shirt and suit pants, his handsome face impassive. This was how he always appeared – high above and invincible. But why was he suddenly on set?
