Chapter 77 Nightmares

  • That night, shortly after Adam fell asleep, the nightmares started again. The worst things The Enemy forced him to do, the lives he took, slaughtering or torturing innocents... yelling and screaming in his Mind, he cried out to God begging to be set free. For the entire eight years, he wanted to die and end his pain and the pain he was forced to inflict on others.
  • A deep guttural growl caught his attention. This time rather than waking him it held him, and the images and emotions stopped. A Wolf appeared, but he was unafraid, and her form shimmered, taking on the aspect of a beautiful woman.
  • There is no need to fear me, Adam Kinsington.
