Chapter 9 New City

• I had a good night's sleep in a long time. I woke up the following day ready to be productive. But first, I needed to familiarise myself with the new city. The motel I'm staying in is just in the center so that I can explore a little today. I already have a plan set for me. I will look for an apartment to rent with my money and then look for a job. I haven't worked a day, so I won't be picky about it.
• I'm getting ready for the day. I'm wearing the sundress I packed and the shoes I wore yesterday, as I didn't pack anything extra. I brush my hair, get a small purse, and leave the room.
• I grab a map from the reception and start to walk. I am still determining where to go.
