• "Tell me, how did it go?" It was Nate who asked. As he gave Nate the recorder, Matt's smile grew. What he was hearing was so unbelievable to him.
• Upon returning to the vehicle, he became aware that his cell phone had been on the passenger seat. He had numerous unanswered calls from Caiden. When he packed up his things and got ready to say goodbye to Matt, the sky had already grown dark.
• Matt offered to assist him find the boys. "Permit me to assist you." He smiled at his old friend and touched his shoulder.
