• “Kenry, didn't you think the behavior of that she-wolf and Alpha was strange when we were in human town?” Elise, Alpha Zane's sister, asks the Gamma annoyed. “He was so rude to us while we had been helping his pack member. I didn't get the impression that they were fated mates, maybe she's just his mistress." Elise clearly feels shortchanged by what happened last week in human town when she came from a business trip with our Gamma.
• This is the second time I heard her mentioning this case. I have shown no interest in it before, my head is with my mate and besides that, I have a lot of work at hand now that Zane extends his stays in Silver Moon. Every year he celebrates the day he first met his little Luna in a big way. But the most striking thing is that in recent weeks Mercedes has been more affectionate, she keeps her mate with her longer than before if she can't be in our pack herself. The two are really inseparable.
