Chapter 5 Unworthy Mate

  • Third person POV
  • Zyran hurriedly exited the room, racing to his own, where he proceeded to wash his face and relieve himself of his arousal.
  • He was incredibly turned on; never had he experienced such a rapid response. His mate had ignited this feeling within him with her innocent voice and cunning nature. He had observed her closely, and he knew that sooner or later, she would have him completely under her spell.
  • He had fled the room to avoid embarrassing himself. His wolf went wild in her presence, and he struggled with every fiber of his being to regain control, but it was nearly impossible with her so close.
  • Then, his mind link activated.
  • “How is it going, brother?” Kravin's voice echoed in his mind.
  • “Terrifying! You guys better come back quickly; she is truly overwhelming,” he replied, prompting a chuckle from Kravin.
  • “We're already done and driving home now,” Vlad responded through the mind link. Zyran's wolf was restless being away from his mate after just meeting her, and he knew he needed her close to maintain control.
  • “Good,” Zyran replied.
  • “I’ve sent one of our men to gather all the information we need about her—everything she has been involved in and who she really is,” Vlad said.
  • He couldn't contain his curiosity; he wanted to learn more about their mate. He was ready to overlook her past because he believed the goddess never made mistakes. He hadn’t slept a wink that night, having spent the entire time gazing at his mate, and he realized he had already claimed her in his heart, even if she was unaware of it.
  • Kravin, on the other hand, was unfazed. He had fallen for her the moment he laid eyes on her. He was the calmest of the brothers, but he could be ruthless when the situation called for it.
  • They packed their belongings at the packing lot as they took the elevator, going straight up to their penthouse.
  • Meanwhile, Zyran remained in his room, listening as his mate smashed and wrecked his brother's room out of anger. However, he didn’t move or say a word; he understood that if he entered that room without his brothers, he might lose control.
  • As soon as his brothers arrived, they heard the commotion. Vlad and Kravin rushed toward the room and flung the door open. Then they saw her; she froze upon seeing them, breathing heavily.
  • A baseball bat was clutched in her hands, and all the lamps, the TV, and everything else in the room lay in ruins.
  • The three brothers stood there, staring at her, while she glared back at them. They were all otherworldly handsome and very tall.
  • “Hi,” she finally said, and that was what snapped the brothers back to reality.
  • “You, young lady, are in a lot of trouble,” Kravin said as he stepped into the room, while Vlad hung back, surveying all his documents and gadgets scattered on the ground. The funniest thing was that no matter how hard he tried to be angry, he couldn’t.
  • This was his mate, and her actions only seemed to amuse him. Nerina stepped back as Kravin approached her.
  • “I just want to go home. You can’t kidnap me and expect me to be obedient,” she protested, but he merely smirked.
  • “No can do , young lady, now come here,” he said as he lifted her effortlessly onto his shoulders in an instant. She kicked and struggled, trying to escape him, but no matter how much she fought, she couldn’t; his body felt like steel, and no matter how hard she hit him, he didn’t even flinch.
  • “Let me go! You can’t keep me here!” she cried out, but her pleas only sparked amusement among the brothers.
  • “That where you're wrong my sweet pea, we can, and we will”Zyran said for the first time ,but that didn't stop her.
  • “What should be done with her brother? Kravin inquired while holding her tightly.
  • “Bind her up; if she wants to behave like an animal, then we’ll treat her like one,” Vlad chuckled, while the others erupted in laughter.
  • Nerina felt confused; she couldn’t comprehend what was happening. How could they be so jovial after she had just wrecked their room? Then she realized her butt was left hanging in the air, which meant her backside was exposed for all of them to see.
  • “Please, let me down, just let me go,” she pleaded, desperately trying to cover herself.
  • “Why are you even bothering to cover up? Remember how excited you were to show everything off to the crowd last night?” Zyran snapped at her, a hint of anger lacing his voice.
  • “My body, my choice, Squidward!” she retorted, and the rest of the brothers burst into laughter at the name she called him, while Zyran stood there with an annoyed expression, clearly not amused by the nickname.
  • “I’m going to whip that backside of yours, little lamb,” Vlad growled as he walked over to her.
  • “No, stop! Let me down, you animal! You can’t do this!” Nerina cried out, but Kravin had turned her around, giving his brother open access.
  • “I’m sorry, please, stop!” Nerina shouted just as Zyran froze, smirking.
  • “We have to leave in less than an hour,” Vlad’s voice rang out.
  • “Let me go! I’m not going anywhere with any of you!” Nerina cried, but the brothers wore bored expressions, which frightened her.
  • “Sorry, little lamb, but we’re never letting you go,” Kravin said as he knocked her out.
  • The three alphas wasted no time leaving the penthouse, each lost in their own thoughts. After years of searching, they had finally found their mates, and she was not what they had anticipated.
  • She was different; it was unheard of for an alpha to be mated to a human. They understood the potential repercussions this news could have on their pack. Wolves had little respect for humans and typically kept their distance, yet now they were bound to one. It was a situation that defied explanation.
  • Her profession wouldn’t help matters either; they knew their mother would be devastated if she discovered the true identity of their mate.
  • As they boarded the plane, Kravin still felt a strong connection to their mate. She was still wearing Vlad's T-shirt, which did little to conceal her curves. There was no denying that she was a rare beauty, and the brothers struggled to maintain their composure.
  • They settled her in the cabin of the plane, watching her sleep—a truly mesmerizing sight.
  • “What are we going to do?” Kravin finally broke the silence.
  • “We keep her hidden... until,” Zyran began, but he was interrupted by a growl.
  • “I would never hide my mate; you should be ashamed for suggesting that,” Vlad snapped at his brother.
  • “Look at her; she isn’t ready to be a queen. She’s human and has no idea who we are, and considering…” Zyran started, but Vlad shot him a glare, cutting him off.
  • “Watch your tongue, Zyran. You will not look down on our mate under any circumstances. She is ours, and the goddess makes no mistakes. Her past does not matter,” Vlad retorted, standing to his feet.
  • “A whore, as you witnessed yesterday, how she”... Zyran never got to finish his thought because, in an instant, Vlad seized him by the neck.
  • "Enough, you two," Kravin snapped at his brothers.
  • “Call her a whore next time, and i swear we will fight to our last breath”Vlad threatened as he shoved Zyran away, and they exchanged fierce glares.
  • "Vlad is correct; she is perfect. We all have a past we aren't proud of, especially you, Zyran. But we can keep her hidden, train her for a while, and when she is ready, she will assume her role as our queen," Kravin proposed.
  • "Fine," Zyran retorted sharply at his brother before turning and exiting the room.
  • Just as they heard a stir, the two brothers froze when their mate opened her eyes, and they realized they were in for yet another round of trouble.
