Chapter 3 Kidnapping Her

  • Zyran Pov
  • She fell into Vlad's arms, but I knew she was overwhelmed, Vlad picked her up in his arms, as he looked at her.
  • She was our little fragile mate, but her occupation wasn't something to be pleased about. There was no doubt that the goddess did hate us,giving us a mate who was tarnished by the world and unfit to stand by our side, i clenched my fist in anger.
  • I couldn't look at her no matter how hard I tried.
  • “We would leave, go back home ,and announce we had found our queen”kravin said and I scoffed.
  • “We should reject her and be dine with these, we can't bring home a girl who isn't fit to be queen, our traditions frown against that, and I sure wouldn't make a whore my queen”I spat.
  • “No, I disagree. We were nearly driven to madness when he couldn't find her. Now that she is with us, I am prepared to give her a chance; we just need to get to know her before passing judgment,”Kravin replied, and I frowned at him.
  • “We have an opportunity to marry one of the alpha's daughters, a woman of virtue, manners, and love. I will not tolerate calling her a whor…” I trailed off as I heard Vlad growl at my words.
  • “We will not reject her; you will not reject her. No one needs to know where we found her. Kravin is correct; she deserves a chance before being judged by someone like you. She is our mate, and we have waited twelve years for her. I will not cast that aside now,” Vlad stated. He was the eldest among us, with me as the second, followed by Kravin.
  • I knew he was right—he was absolutely right—but how could I accept the fact that my mate was a stripper and a prostitute? I glared at Vlad as I walked out of the VIP club, and I could see my brothers doing the same.
  • We were all disheartened; we had anticipated our mate to be the daughter of an alpha or beta, at the very least a gammer, but now she turned out to be a human.
  • Being a Luna queen came with many responsibilities, and I could only hope we weren't making the wrong choice.
  • I got into the car as my brothers slid into the back seat. Vlad still held our little mate; her nude body was covered with his suit jacket as he held her close to his heart. Her scent drove me wild—a fragrance of jasmine, something pure and sweet. I had never experienced anything like this before.
  • I have heard whispers about how the mate bond was always a different experience—beautiful, cherished, and now experiencing it felt like a dream coming true.
  • We arrived at our lounge, and Vlad took her to his quarters, placing her gently on the bed. She clung to Vlad tightly, not wanting to let go, and he held her close as he settled onto the bed.
  • My wolf yearned to feel what that was like—the warmth of her skin and the scent that filled the air—but I restrained myself.
  • I walked out of the room, sensing Kravin's footsteps behind me.
  • “Zyran... Zyran...” he called out, and I paused, turning to meet his gaze.
  • “What?” I snapped, and he frowned in response.
  • “Don’t, don’t reject her,” he urged, and I sighed as I turned to face him.
  • “I wouldn’t. Besides, I can’t reject her if neither of you accepts the rejection. It’s just so difficult... so difficult to a...” I trailed off as he finished my thought.
  • “Accept. I know, but she’s ours. We finally have a mate after all these years. Think about it,” Kravin said, excitement lighting up his eyes with hope, and I could only wish that hope would never fade or disappear.
  • “I’ll try my best,” I replied, and he embraced me.
  • “What do you think Mother would say about her?” he asked, and I smiled.
  • “She’s going to be so furious,” I responded, and we both burst into laughter. Of course, we all knew our mother; she was the Luna Queen and had held that title for many years until we found our mate, which would mean she would immediately resume her duties.
  • But now, I couldn't wait to see the expression on her face when she discovers that her mate isn't even a wolf but a human instead; she was going to be so angry.
  • My mother was a traditional wolf, and she loved to do things the traditional way. We had never had a problem with that, but I knew well enough that this mate bond would not sit well with her.
  • I had vastly drunk the night away, lost in thought about our mate, and I could see he was too. Morning came, and I strolled out of my room to find Vlad all dressed up.
  • “Where are you off to?” I asked him, and just then, Kravin showed up, also dressed.
  • “An emergency at the pack; we have to settle a few things so we can go home today,” he said, and I raised my brows at him.
  • “No… no… no,” I said.
  • “What? It’s going to be a few hours. She should be up any minute; it seems she was exhausted and burned up all night. We can’t leave her alone; you’ll have to watch over her until we get back,” Vlad said, and I could see Kravin trying to hold back a laugh, which made me glare at him.
  • “Have all the fun, brother. I wish you luck,” Kravin said as they strolled out.
  • I walked toward Vlad's room to see her sleeping. Her long hair was spread all over the bed as she snored softly. Her skin was pale, but she was beautiful.
  • She was one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen, and I knew I was lucky to have her. Vlad had changed her from his suit to his t-shirt, which was obviously a gown on her.
  • She stirred, and I knew she was waking up.
