• I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off. I looked at the clock to see if it was seven in the morning. I didn't want to get up because I was really tired from staying up all night thinking about everything. Knowing that it would be my first day at a new school, I got up and went into my bathroom to shower.
• While I was showering, I kept thinking about my parents and how they were most likely mates. From what my mom said, my dad had told her that they were mates, and she even felt a connection to him and sparks when they touched. I could tell they felt something for each other the night before. What I didn't get was why he left my mom for Catherine. What made him think that Catherine was his mate and not my mom? I knew I needed to get answers and quickly. Catherine had a plan, and that was to make sure Josh became the Alpha of the Pack and get rid of everyone who stood by my dad.
