• Edwina's POV...
• I abhorred the fact that I thought I needed to make peace with him that night and went to fuck him in his study room like some cheap stake, and after all that, he still had the nerve to ask me a question that wasn't called for.
• I went back to the room sad and woke up multiple times at night, hoping he would come to bed, but he didn't. He slept in the study room. Why do I feel bad when it was clearly his fault? I wanted to make peace, and he didn't.
