• Looking around the room that had clearly been tagged as out of bounds, I sat by the door, hugging my legs to my chest. Thinking about Xander's announcement, I didn't know how exactly I was supposed to act. And maybe I shouldn't have acted unreasonably, walking out on him like that.
• But I was overwhelmed by the news, and my emotions weren't exactly clear. I should have suspected something was different about me, especially when I craved more sleep and felt some irritation in the mornings for the past week now.
