• Thanks to the healer’s help, my injury had healed faster than expected. And the next morning, despite the persistent limp, I made my way to the mansion to resume my duties. I didn’t want to cause any trouble.
• Getting to the pack house, the head maid eyed me with hate before assigning me to do the laundry. Obeying her, I limped and made my way to the laundry room. Despite the discomfort in my leg, I set out to do the task, putting on the machine and dumping the dirty clothes in it. As the machine washed, I set out to begin ironing.
