• The last time I wore something this beautiful was four years ago, back when my parents were still alive. Since their deaths, I had known nothing but tattered rags—until tonight. Dressed in a fitted red gown gifted to me by Alpha Leo, I stood before the mirror, taking in my reflection. My life flashed before me.
