Chapter 10 Hunt

• Kira’s POV
• Reaching my room in the servants' quarters, I rested my back against the wall and drew in a deep breath. I felt so disgusted with myself. I hated the way they had seen naked and without clothes, but what hurt more was how foolishly I loved his touch. I hated even more how my body had betrayed me, how foolishly I’d craved his touch.
• I sighed and then moved over to the bathroom attached to my room. I took a moment to wash my face in the sink and stared at the mirror, shame, and embarrassment enveloping my entire being, but I sucked in a deep breath and gathered my emotions.
