Chapter 14 The Woman

• Beta’s POV
• For a moment, it just stared at me, its unblinking eyes piercing through me. Then, before I could even react, its body began to shift, twisting and contorting in the air around me. The heat in the room intensified, and when the transformation was complete, standing before me was a woman, beautiful, with long black hair and piercing silver eyes.
• She smiled at me, and it felt like some invisible force was pulling me toward her. I tried to fight it, but my body moved on its own, my feet carrying me closer to her.
