• I immediately sat upright as I closed the book like it had scalded my eyes. Did she just wake up or had she woken up since and seen me lick my lips at the juicy scene I had read.
• "What do you mean…what do you mean by what was I doing with your book? It happened to fall mistakenly and I was just trying to place it on the desk" I stammered as I partially said the truth. It was true that the book had fallen mistakenly but Kate did not believe me as she dimmed her eyes at me, trying to scrutinize me.
