Chapter 7 Devilishly

  • Life continues to go on as usual, and Amelia starts getting fed up with Scarlett.
  • Scarlett is now seven years old, and still, she talks about creatures.
  • Amelia could recall that fateful day that she had taken Scarlett to school.
  • She had asked the little child why she hated school with passion, and Scarlett replied that she hates school because she sees monsters all over her premises.
  • Usually, she does say she sees weird creatures around her….. but that day at her school premises…… Something was different.
  • After Scarlett had made those statements to her. Amelia tried to do everything she could so that Scarlett could stop spilling out nonsense from her mouth, but still, there was more.
  • Scarlett had cried her eyes out while yelling that she isn't going to enter inside the school building.
  • When Amelia had forcefully dragged her inside the building….. she became shocked due to the thing that Scarlett started doing.
  • Scarlett had grabbed the fork which Amelia had kept in her lunch box.
  • Scarlett used the fork to start stabbing the air, and within the next five minutes, she was seriously fighting with the thin air, while her red long hair started glittering.
  • Her eyes showed like that of a goddess…… and then, Scarlett seemed terrifying.
  • From that day henceforth…… all kids started fearing Scarlett, and although I'm her Mom…… I became a little bit terrified.
  • Right now…… I'm just coming back from the clinic…… and surprisingly!. I'm due to give birth.
  • Amelia finds out that she has been pregnant for months now, and she just couldn't help but be happy.
  • Amelia had always wished for a kid of her own, and Scarlett just felt different.
  • Taking care of Scarlett just seems a little bit different, because she doesn't seem to be like every other kid
  • Her behavior….. her method of speaking and her eyes!.... It's just so strange.
  • I knew that I'm due anytime soon, but still I decided to go to the hospital to check again because I just can't wait until I produce my flesh and blood.
  • Still walking out of the hospital to head back home….. I started feeling something.
  • I turn around before standing properly because something hurts.
  • I was about to take another step, and then a sharp pain escaped my lips.
  • Coming to the hospital…… I only had the intention to run some checks up, but I ended up being in labor.
  • Luckily….. I'm still inside the hospital, and so the nurses that were all around quickly came to my rescue.
  • In no time, I was taken to the labor room to battle between life and death.
  • Scarlett and my husband had both received a call from the doctor, so they quickly brought thing's I'll be using, with an excited expression all over their face.
  • When they both of them got to the hospital…… I had already given birth, and surprisingly….. I gave birth to twins.
  • The doctor had once done a check-up on me while saying that I'm going to give birth to two girls….. but right now!. I gave birth to a girl and a boy.
  • The girl is the eldest because she's the first child to leave my stomach…… while the boy comes after the girl.
  • Heaven can't describe how happy I am. After ten good years….. I'm now finally with my child. My flesh and blood.
  • Seeing the babies on my arm…… I instantly realize that there's a big difference between having your kids and taking care of someone's child.
  • "Mama!. The baby looks so much like you". Scarlett said, with an excited voice.
  • "Are you expecting them to look like you?". I asked, with an irritated voice, while rolling my eyes in annoyance.
  • I have just woken up from sleep, and the first person I had to start talking to was just none other person but Scarlett.
  • "Chill love!. You don't have to reply to her like that, and besides she's excited". My husband said while caressing my shoulder so that I can be able to calm down.
  • I know that right now, he's already aware that I'm beginning to hate Scarlett, and with time I know I won't be able to stand her in front of me.
  • "Mama!. I'm excited to have a little brother and sister, so you don't have to sound mad towards me". Scarlett muttered out, with a meek voice.
  • 'Gush!. Damm this child!'.
  • I was assisted by the nurse while taking my bath, while some other nurse took care of bathing my children.
  • When I was done….. I ate my breakfast and started feeding my kids.
  • I slept the whole night after successfully giving birth, which made me consume more than I can even imagine.
  • "Mama, what are we going to name my little brother and sister?". Scarlett asked, and her question disgusted me.
  • "I'll name my kids on my own. Besides, they are my kids'". I said while forcing a smile on my face because I don't want the nurse that's currently in the hospital room to start staring at me as if I'm a mother who has lost her manners when talking to her child.
  • "Hahaha!. Mama I didn't say I want to name my little brother and sisters". Scarlett said laughing.
  • "What the hell is funny?". I asked with a hoarse voice because the more Scarlett talks about….. the more I feel irritated.
  • "It's funny Mama". Scarlett said, still laughing, and it was obvious that she isn't aware that I'm not kidding with my question.
  • "Bae!. Can you tell Scarlett to keep her mouth shut?". I ask my husband who is now carrying my babies to their bed.
  • "Just let her be dear". My husband replied and it seems as if Scarlett has now poisoned his mind.
  • "Will you keep it down Scarlett!". I yelled, with my eyes wide open and my voice loud.
  • Scarlett sniffs back a little, and she seems to have not expected my outburst.
  • "Mama!". Scarlett called out my name with a broken voice.
  • "Go call that to someone you little freak!". I yelled because remembering all that this child had made me go through….. I just couldn't help but hate her the most.
  • Right now I was expecting Scarlett to cry, but instead…… She walked up towards the place where the knife was being kept, and she raised the knife in front of my kids while smirking devilishly.
