Chapter 6 Monster

• "Mama!. I don't want to go to school today". Scarlett said, with a broken voice.
• When it comes to school….. She hates it with passion, but not to mention the fact that she doesn't admire anywhere in particular.
• "Baby!". Amelia called out her daughter's name in a gentle voice.
• Amelia is the adopted mother of Scarlett, and she does work at the orphanage home where Scarlett had once died.
• Amelia was the nurse who had carried Scarlett on her body before the young child gave up the ghost.
• It was Damn painful for Amelia because she loves how Scarlett looks, and it just seems as if she's bound to be with Scarlett.
• When Amelia carried the young dead child to go and bury…… something strange happened at that point of time which was Damm surprising.
• The little dead child whose body was stiff a while ago, suddenly shut her golden eyes, and that of her hazel eyes…. . Wide open.
• The child made Amelia so terrified that she had almost thrown the child on her hand out of fear.
• Immediately the child opens her eyes wide open….. something suddenly clicks in her mind of Amelia.
• 'Scarlett!'. Amelia called out.
• Scarlett means someone who sells rich, and at that time Amelia believes that Scarlett is going to be rich because the child was Damn beautiful.
• Amelia quickly ran out of the orphanage, without allowing anyone to see her carrying the child.
• She has been married for four years and hasn't given birth.
• If she takes Scarlett back to the orphanage home…… she's going to spend a lot of money, and she's also going to go through a lot of processes, before adopting the child.
• Amelia feared that she couldn't afford all of that then, so she quit her job at the orphanage home…… before making a fake DNA test that Scarlett is her daughter.
• Amelia was desperate, and likewise her husband so they both corporate to make their plan a success.
• Scarlett doesn't look like Amelia, because her hair is red. Her eyes are gold and greenish hazel…… but despite all the different personalities….. Scarlett is still a beautiful child.
• "Scarlett, you have to go to school today. I won't accept any excuse…… and don't even give me the excuse of yesterday Okay!". Amelia said while putting food in the lunchbox.
• Scarlett had complained to her yesterday, saying that she has a stomach ache, and even though she's just three years old…… she is still good at acting.
• Amelia knew that she was acting because she does pretend almost every day so that I'll permit her not to go to school.
• Yesterday. I had advised myself not to fall for my daughter's trick, but when her temperature started rising…… I finally buy the idea that she's sick.
• I nursed her throughout the morning, and when it was half-past noon. She started playing and running around the house as if she hadn't been sick before, and that was when I realized that I had fallen for her trick again.
• "Mama!. I'm not going to pretend, but please don't take me to that dark place called school". Scarlett said, and I'm already seeing tears falling from her eyes.
• "Baby. School is fun okay. And it isn't a 'Dark place'". Amelia said, with a soft voice, while raising Scarlett up.
• She carried Scarlett with one hand, and then she used her other hand to grab Scarlett's school bag and her lunch box.
• "Mama!..... I want…. I want to stay here with you". Scarlett cried, and her beautiful eyes started piercing Amelia.
• Mere looking at those beautiful eyes of Scarlett when she cries…… it's very hard for anyone to resist her eyes.
• It was like her little lucky charm.
• "Baby. I promise you that school is going to be fun today. And If it isn't fun, then you don't have to be going to school again". Amelia said, which made Scarlett arch her brows.
• "Mama. You aren't going to go back on your words right?". Scarlett asked while sneering at Amelie.
• "I promise you this time around, so you have my words". Amelia said, with that Scarlett didn't bother to say anything until she got inside Amelia's car.
• Amelia fastens the seat belt for Scarlett, before accelerating the car engine.
• The ride to Scarlett's school was quiet, and Amelie liked it because she can now mentally relax her brain.
• Scarlett was more talkative, so whenever she wasn't talking…… Amelia usually becomes happy because she can now relax her mind.
• "What the heck!". Amelia yelled while tugging her finger in her hair. "I should have taken the other road". She added with a frustrated voice.
• Amelia had thought of taking the other road while driving, but she doesn't know what has come over her but she saw herself taking the road that her mind doesn't approve of, which resulted in her being stuck in traffic.
• "Mama. I guess the universe is on my side…… so please can we just revise back home?". Scarlett asked.
• "We are stuck in the middle of traffic Scarlett, so please stop distracting me while I drive". Amelia said, before focusing her gaze back on the road.
• It took Amelie an hour and half before she was successfully able to get to Scarlett's school.
• "Mama loves you okay!". Amelia said as she opened the car door for Scarlett to step out of the car.
• While driving…… Scarlett didn't shed any tears, but immediately they got to her school, she started crying.
• Amelie squatted down beside Scarlett… .. before placing some strand of hair behind her ear. "Why exactly did you hate school?". Amelia asked.
• "It's scary!". Scarlett cried, before sniffing her nose.
• "How scary is it?". Amelia asked because she was tired of playing games with Scarlett.
• "It's very scary Mama!". Scarlett said in between tears.
• Amelia nods her head so that Scarlett can continue her statement.
• "Inside the school premises….. I do see monsters walking with their head on the floor, while their leg is in the air……. I do see some monsters changing into beasts, and they always come after me, while using a knife". The young Scarlett declared.
