Chapter 80 A Glimmer of Recovery and Lingering Doubts
- Seeing Asty crying, Dawn and Dusk were stunned for a moment, not sure whether they should step forward. After all, it seemed that their little sister was crying because of their mommy's injury, which was a huge improvement for her autistic state. But looking at her tearful appearance, the two felt extremely heartbroken. They wanted to remind their mommy, but seeing Yvonne frowning and enduring the pain while rinsing her arm under cold water, the two brothers quieted down, their eyes darting back and forth between her and Asty.
- After the water ran for a while, Bryan helped her stand up. Yvonne lowered her eyes to look at the wound. Although it was still red, the burning pain had lessened significantly.
- "Still hurts?" Bryan noticed her subtle expression, his brows furrowed slightly, and concern hidden in his eyes. Yvonne was slightly taken aback and gently shook her head. "It's much better."
