Chapter 65 Family Disagreements and Tensions

• At least, not for now. As his parents were speaking, Bryan Lockwood had been reflecting on his recent interactions with Yvonne Johnston. He concluded that their recent involvements were mostly due to Asty. The thought struck him as rather ironic. Moreover, judging by her attitude when they reunited, if it weren't for Asty, that woman would probably avoid him like the plague. What his parents were worried about was simply impossible.
• Hearing him say this, Irene's expression softened slightly. "That's good. What about Whitney? When are you planning to hold the mating ceremony with her? If you two settle down earlier, there will be someone to take care of Asty."
• Bryan furrowed his brows and refused. "I'm even less comfortable leaving Asty with Whitney than with Yvonne. Asty has always shown strong resistance to her. So, I need to think more about the marriage."
