• It’s been an hour since Asher left. Elizabeth knew sulking would do her no good so instead, she spent it busying herself with reading even though the thought of Asher kept invading her mind every second.
• She only had breakfast after Izzy help her with a bath and even braided her hair before leaving to carry on with her duty around the pack. Beth was still seating by the sofa when Asher walked in, looking worst than he left.
