Chapter 2 Intruder

• After leaving the capital city I came across two other cities and the sight was the same as that of the capital.
• It seems the Conrad Empire spared no one in the Arian kingdom.
• It was a complete massacre which goes to show the kind of nation am going up against.
• I plan to make use of the knowledge I harvested in the library as my root of getting Vengeance.
• I know the empire control the southern continent so fighting against them is like having to go up against the whole continent.
• To even the numbers I am going to need to raise an army of my own.
• Demon and Spirit summoning takes a lot of mana so I might not be able to summon a lot of them.
• Making it not that reliable in a war.
• Although I really do not know how strong the Summoned creatures will be but I do not want to take any fatal risks.
• Using human army is also out of the question unless they want to meet the same fate as the Arian kingdom.
• My only option is allaying myself with a different race.
• To do that I will have to reveal what my race is.
• The Emperor has tight control over everything.
• They wouldn't want to risk all allaying themselves with me with the possibility that it could be a trap set by the Emperor.
• But will they really take it well.
• I don't know the logic of this world but I am pretty sure demons do not belong in the common sense.
• In the myths on earth demons have always symbolized temptation and negativity.
• "Sigh"
• I sure have a rough journey ahead of me.
• I kept walking along a pathway that led to somewhere "I think".
• Thinking of how to gain allies on my journey of Vengeance.
• "!!!!???"
• Just now I definitely felt the presence of another species coming from the left side of the pathway with my universal perception.
• It came as a surprise to me as the two cities I had passed through earlier had no life except for the crow's.
• My curiosity got the better of me as I followed the presence leading to a forest.
• Inside of the forest Is a tunnel wide enough for a human child to crawl in.
• I initially thought it was a beast or something I never expected to see a tunnel of all things.
• I wonder if it was an escape route dugout by the villagers but it seems too small for any adult to fit in as it was a child sized tunnel. Since speculations would not get me anywhere I crawled into the tunnel to check it out.
• It is a very narrow hole at first but the deeper i went in the wider it kept going until I could eventually stand up on my feet.
• This tunnel is unlike any i had ever seen.
• Inside of it did not feel like something a human dug because cause In front of me is another tunnel not just one but about ten of them like the ones made by ants when gathering food.
• I concentrated my senses on the tunnels and felt a massive wave of mana coming from a particular tunnel.
• Then I chose it as my route.
• While moving through the tunnel I thought to myself when did I become this bold.
• If it was the former me I would have been terrified to walk this dark silent and scary looking path alone.
• But now it's like all my human senses have been shut down.
• Fear, anxiety, hope, pity.
• I feel none of what once makes me a human.
• Thinking this thought I spotted a giant ant coming from the other end of the tunnel.
• It dashed at me but I easily caught it with my bare hand and I split its head apart.
• Just then a swarm of them came charging at me.
• But rather than stepping back I ran towards them as I punched them down with my fist one by one.
• They fell but more of them just kept coming trying to get through to me and none succeeded.
• My senses sharper than ever without even looking I was able to punch through those that were aiming at my back but this did not stop the rest from trying again.
• It was a repetitive move the more they kept coming the more I push my way through and this went on until I got to the end of the tunnel.
• It is an open space and the ants that occupied it where in the thousands.
• There were even winged ants amongst them and at the very end of this ant army is a large nucleus with strings attached to it from different sides.
• In front were five ants as well but this ants differed from the rest in that they stood on two legs rather than six.
• It was obvious without being told that they were the strongest of the ants.
• And seeing as how they all seemed to not move away from the nucleus after all the commotion is I caused hints to me how important it is.
• The ants at the forefront all rushed at me but it was futile they stood absolutely no chance against me.
• Not being able to just stand and watch any longer one of the standing ants jumped right at me with the legs out.
• I slightly moved my right leg to the back of my left leg evading the incoming ant.
• Then I grabbed the ant's stretched out leg and swung it before letting go.
• The ant crashed against the wall and passed out.
• The standing ants all swung their four claws at me but i evaded them with precise movements.
• Not wasting any chances I punched the first ant in its gut causing it to fall on its knees.
• For the second ant I kicked it at the side of the stomach sending it flying.
• The third ant was a kick to the knee shattering his/her legs.
• The fourth ant dashed at me but I jumped right to its face grabbing the head and gave him/her a knee strike to the jaw.
• And just like that the five strongest all down.
• I did not stop my momentum there and ran past the lower ants.
• As I head straight for the nucleus.
• Getting there I touched it and instantly I felt this sudden rush within me.
• The nucleus life force was seeping into my body.
• Like I was gaining something.
• I checked my status to confirm and to my surprise I had gained two new skills and one title.
• (Parallel Existence & ability share).
• (King of the Ants).
• I gained this OP skills just from consuming the nucleus.
• Now I see why the ants so persistently protected it.
• Talking about the ants.
• They are currently bowing their heads to me.
• Including the standing ants as well.
• It must be because of the King of the Ants effect.
• Honestly this might actually be a good opportunity for me.
• I was looking for who to ally myself with to begin with and now I have a whole ant army bowing to me, this can only mean one thing.
• Even though they are currently weak right now i just have to train them to become stronger.
• Just thinking of the endless possibilities of how strong they can become gets me all hyped upm
• My dear queen it seems the day of your Vengeance will not be that long.
