Chapter 4 Dove Occupies Magpie Nest
- The corridor was not spacious and they met in the narrow hallway. Brad was slightly stupefied, he straightened his clothes and said, "Miss Astley, I've come to see a doctor for Nicole."
- Brad was Jordan's best friend. Some people would say that if a man was taking you to heart, you would only need to look at the attitude of his friends around you.
- She didn't have to look at his attitude, she just had to listen to his address towards her. She, Ivelle Astley, was only addressed as Miss Astley by his friends.
- What a polite and unfamiliar title!
- She didn't want to dig out too many details, otherwise, she would get depressed. She smiled and gave way to him. Ivelle said, "Well, go in!"
- Sometimes she would really envy Nicole. As long as she would drop a few tears, she could have the warmth that Ivelle wouldn't get with half her life.
- When she went back to the bedroom, she found the suit of clothes that Jordan had not worn and carried it out of the bedroom into the living room.
- Brad treated Nicole quickly. He took her temperature, prescribed medicine for reducing fever. He was ready to leave.
- He went downstairs and he saw her standing in the living room. He smiled. "It's getting late. Why is Miss Astley still up?"
- "Well, I'll sleep in a while!" Ivelle handed him the clothes in her hands and said, "Your clothes are wet and it's still raining outside. Change into clean clothes before you go, so as not to catch a cold."
- It was probably an accident that Ivelle would give them these clothes. He was stupefied and his handsome face smiled. He said, "No, I'm strong. It will not affect me!"
- She put the clothes in his hand and said, "Jordan hasn't worn it, the tag is still there. You're about the same size, wear it!"
- With that, Ivelle went upstairs and entered the bedroom.
- She was not so kind. When her grandmother was in the hospital, Brad was the chief surgeon. He was an internationally famous doctor. If he hadn't been in the Astley family, he would not have agreed to operate on my grandmother. Those clothes were a debt of gratitude.
- The next day.
- In the morning after a night of heavy rain, the sun was full of earthy fragrance. She was used to getting up early. When Ivelle went downstairs after washing, Jordan and Nicole were in the kitchen.
- Jordan was dressed in a black apron and his slender body stood by the stove, frying eggs. The fierce and cold smell of the frying egg dissipated and smelled good.
- Nicole's sparkling black eyes were looking at him. Her high fever has just gone down. Her delicate and small face was lovely and fascinating.
- "Be careful, I'd like to have fried eggs." As she spoke, Nicole stuffed a strawberry into Jordan's mouth and continued, "But it can't be too scorched or it will taste bitter."
- Jordan chewed the strawberries. His pair of black eyes were looking at Nicole, although there was no reply, the way he looked at Nicole was full of warmth.
- Handsome man and beautiful woman, talent and beauty, they were really a match!
- Such a scene with warm and romantic interaction. It was very sweet.
- "They're a good match, aren't they?" There was a voice behind her. Ivelle was stupefied. When she looked back, it was Brad. She forgot that it rained heavily last night and Nicole had a high fever. Jordan naturally wouldn't let him go back.
- "Good morning!" I opened my mouth, smiled and my eyes fell on his clothes, which I handed him last night.
- He noticed her eyes, he raised his eyebrow and smiled. "These clothes are very suitable, thank you."
- She shook her head and said, "Don't mention it!" Ivelle bought these clothes for Jordan but he never touched them.
- When she heard the noise, Nicole shouted at us, "Sister Ivelle, Brother Brad, you are up. Jordan has fried eggs. Come and eat with us!"
- Her tone was like the style of a matriarch.
- Ivelle smiled. "No, I bought some bread and milk yesterday and put it in the fridge."
- After all, this was the place where she lived for two years and the real estate certificate had the names of Jordan and her.
- No matter how weak she was, she wouldn't let others occupy the nest.
