• I just wanted to think things over and determine my feelings for him. That I had feelings was certain, but I couldn’t figure out what exactly I felt for Alex.
• As I walked between the aisles of products, I glanced at the entrance doors of the large grocery store. Something caught my attention there, or rather, someone. As soon as I recognized who it was, my heart began to pound, and I hid behind the nearest shelf, hoping I had gone unnoticed.
• Damn it, this was the last thing I needed. What was he doing here?
