Chapter 18

• Truth be told, I’m not so sure about it anymore. As soon as we arrived in the forest, Alex started acting differently. Yes, he said things that I liked, but then he kissed me out of nowhere.
• At first, I didn’t mind, even though I was surprised. I thought Alex was a little different, so his behavior caught me off guard.
• But when his actions became more insistent, I realized I needed to stop him. Even though my heart was beating wildly and my body was burning, I didn’t want things to progress so quickly. I’m still not entirely sure this is the right thing to do.
