Chapter 73 Healing

• Grabbing a towel off a nearby supple cart, I press it against my hand and sit down beside my brother. My heart aches looking at his broken body and the blood-stained bandages. Guilt engulfs me for not getting here sooner. Unfortunately, I had needed to handle the business side of things before I could sneak off to visit him and my father.
• My injured hand grips the towel while my other hand lightly touches the scratches along the side of Trent’s face as I whisper, “Hey, bro. I’m here, but I can’t stay long. Rely on your alpha blood flowing through you and gather your strength to fight this. I know you can do it. I have faith.”
