- “What! The King is coming. Now? No one told me they were coming.” I sit upright in my desk chair as my beta, through our pack link, relays the information the checkpoint has told him.
- My heart races and then an idea pops up. Is he coming to tell me Trinity is fine will be back here soon? But why would the King come here? He could have called instead.
