Chapter 3
- *Samantha's POV*
- "Hello, darlings," one of the masters greeted with a sadistic chuckle that made me shiver.
- The grin on his face showed that very soon we would all be in tears. Their smile is our tears.
- "All she-wolves should be moved to the other room," he ordered and we were all moved to an entirely different room.
- We all waited with the hitched breath, I looked around, Granny wasn't there, none of the old ladies was.
- "Cara, what do you think is happening?" I asked.
- "Whatever is happening is not good" she replied.
- "Do you think granny and the others are going to be killed?" I asked.
- "Of course not, they won't bother taking us away just to kill."
- "That's true" I mumbled and kept my gaze on the door, waiting for it to open.
- The door finally opened and one of the masters walked in.
- "Hello young ladies." he greeted with that same grin.
- "Today is a great day for you all. I mean, you all have been here for like forever, don't you yearn for a man's touch?" He asked and I gasped.
- "Rape?" I mumbled, grateful that I did not say that loud.
- "A bit louder and you are getting us into another trouble," Cara whimpered to me.
- I could sense her fear, her anger, I could feel it all as much as I could feel mine.
- Rape could kill the wolf form, I felt sorry not just for myself but for Cara. Her whimpers filled my head.
- "So today, we are going to be giving you a special opportunity to have a man, what do you say to this kind gesture?" He asked with a smirk but we all were quiet.
- "What do you say?" He asked, gritting his teeth in a manner that told us all that we would be dead if we do not say what he wants.
- "Thank you, master!" We all chorused and he laughed hysterically.
- "Don't you worry about it, you can be sure to have a nice man that is good," he laughed, walking out of the room but suddenly stopped.
- "And yes, you would be having new inmates." he finally walked out.
- "Did... Is that going to happen? I am going to get...get raped?" I stuttered and I could hear Cara whimpering.
- Sex, when it is not with your mate, is the worst feeling and those bastards know it!!
- I curled up in a ball and tears slid down my cheeks as I listened to Cara's whimpering amidst the silent sobs of the other girls.
- We were all innocent of crimes except one, we came from a weaker pack.

- *Kayden's POV*
- "Now, would you give me an explanation of what you mean by you are going to reject our mate if you meet her?" Jay asked as I took my seat in the office.
- "Jay, I know how you feel but then, I really can't go into the arms of another woman."
- "Really? Once we meet our mate, you are going to accept her,"
- "No, I won't."
- "Oh, you would have to."
- "No, and it's for her good, you think she would be able to stand me, it's better for her to just leave."
- "Oh yeah! Then your mind me abandoning you once you abandon whoever is our mate,"
- "Jay! You won't do that, right?"
- "Oh yes, I will."
- "C'mon, we have not even seen her yet, who knows? I might not even have a mate."
- "Every wolf has a mate Kayden."
- "Maybe I am special, now let me work, okay?" I asked opening up a document.
- "Work? Not when...."
- "Alpha!" Davis walked in cutting Jay off and from the way he rushed in, I could sense emergency in his voice.
- "What is it? You could have waited for me to get back from work. You should very well know that I do not mix work and the pack," I replied him, my eyes on the documents before me.
- "I am fully aware but this is urgent"
- "Okay, what is this so urgent news?" I asked, finally taking my gaze off the documents.
- "Wolf hunters attacked another pack," he said and my eyes widened, I could feel Jay groan in me, his protectiveness over the packs had just been tampered with.
- "What pack?"
- "Still green pack."
- "Get ready, we set for there at once" I replied, getting up from my seat and grabbing my coat.
- "But Alpha, what about the invite from the lock heart pack? I already accepted it," He reminded me and I slowly bit my lips.
- I am a man of my words but then the pack! Those bastards are called wolf hunters! Silly and stupid wolf hunters!
- "I could go to check out the affected pack on your behalf," Davis said and I walked up to him, placing a hand on his shoulders.
- "Not going to the party after accepting is a taint to my reputation. You go to the pack,"
- "You know, you act silly sometimes but then I am glad I have you," I said to him and he smiled.
- "I'll take that as a compliment" he replied and I nodded, walking away from him.
- "I'll leave now," he said and exited the room.
- I took my seat and as soon as I had done that, the door opened, Lauren.
- "Hey, Alpha Kayden," she greeted with a beaming smile.
- "Lauren," I smiled at her, something she cherished a lot knowing that I give it to very few people.
- "This is not the time to smile Kayden," Jay groaned and I understood what he meant.
- "You're looking good today." Lauren complimented walking over to me and kissing my cheek.
- "You love this act," I shook my head.
- "It's just a kiss on the cheek," she replied, taking the seat opposite me.
- "Lauren, why are you here?" I asked.
- "To see you_" she replied.
- "You've seen me, what more?" I asked.
- "Alpha Kayden, can you kindly exclude me from your cold treatment?" She asked and I sighed.
- "Okay, you want to talk?" I asked and she nodded.
- "I... I found my mate," she replied and I chuckled.
- "Lucky you! Congratulations, I would love to meet the lucky...."
- "Sorry for cutting you off Alpha Kayden but then he is not very lucky," Lauren shook her head.
- "And why should you think so? You are beautiful, you are great_"
- "If only someone thought that way"
- "So what did you say to your mate?" I asked, taking a look at the contract in front of me.
- "I rejected him," she replied and my head snapped towards her.
- "And why would you do that?"
- "She is just like you too, birds of the same feathers flock together," Jay chirped in.
- "You like someone else?" I asked, based on the statement she had made earlier about if only someone thought that way.
- "Yes I do" she replied.
- "Wow!"
- "Who is he? Or it's a she?" I asked.
- "Of course not! It's a he" she replied and I clasped my hands together.
- "Who is he?" I asked and suddenly her gaze on me grew quite intense but I ignored it.
- "Do you want to know?" She asked, her eyes still on me, staring at me in a pretty much weird manner.
- "Yeah, I want to know."
