• Patrick wasn’t being petty, nor was he deliberately trying to connect Alexander to Natalia. It was instinct—pure and simple. When danger surfaced, the mind always went straight to the most obvious threat. And Alexander was dangerous, to both Natalia and Patrick. That much was undeniable.
