She gave the front room of the cabin a last glance, trying to pinpoint some little clue as to why Kelliann had chosen to come out there, hoping to spot a stray slipper, a sock, but finding only the small feathers of cold air blowing through the cracks around the old wooden frame surrounding the window and the endless dustiness.
