• Sapphire Everheart fidgeted with unease in her chair, unsure of how to react. She was grateful that Elizabeth was out meeting a client and that she hadn't run into her ex yet. It would be a drama waiting to unfold.
• Crossing her arms defiantly, she lifted her chin and spoke rather firmly. "I know you're eager to meet my boss, but please remember that she deals with many clients. Just because you're someone important doesn't mean she'll prioritize you. Ms. Elizabeth is fair and sees clients on a first-come, first-served basis."
• Crimson felt his cheeks warm up in annoyance. He ran a hand through his hair in frustration. "I understand, but it's been weeks. We have important matters to discuss."
