• “So, is that a yes?” his annoying gentle voice came.
• I stared at him without uttering a word. I hadn’t come back to this lifetime to be another’s man toy. I had managed to escape from the Lavels for now, and now I have to deal with this so called Killian. My mind flashed back to the men in suit from earlier, if there are more of them that mean escaping would be impossible.
• I scanned him again. What if I just pretend to be understandable and obedient. Who knows, he might take me out and I can escape and call the police. It wouldn’t be easy, but I have to give it a shot.
