Chapter 16 Love Again

• The gates of Hell opened before Killian. The demons stared at him as he walked through them with Gwen’s body held tightly against his chest. Her head rested against his shoulder. Her hair fell over his arm, and the white blanket around her body was stained red.
• The flames surrounding the gates bent away from him. Demons moved aside as soon as they saw him, their voices falling silent. The Lord of Lust had returned from the human world carrying a dead woman in his arms.
• Killian didn’t look at anyone, his eyes stayed on Gwen.
