• Since Sophia woke up and we had that revealing conversation, where I could see that she truly accepted who she was and what was happening, the balance between us began to flow more easily. I feel my wolf strengthening every day, and I realize I had never considered humans the way Sophia described. It makes perfect sense, as almost every race I have known or heard of has a human counterpart. Humans are incredibly versatile, which gives me confidence that Sophia will survive the rejection ritual.
• I'm not sure how much damage it will cause her and her companions, my Alpha and Beta, but I have faith that they will recover. And, honestly? Even after the rejection ritual, I will never abandon Sophia. I will always be her Gamma, her protector.
