Chapter 21

• The whole day yesterday which was a Sunday, Annessa stayed in the house. First reason was she didn’t feel like going out. Second one was she had tried contacting Eric a lot of times because she was determined to talk to him and break up with him. And the third reason was her mom advised her not to leave the house since Logan might kidnap her. They all knew that he had become more persistent after she asked his mother to tell him to steer clear of her.
• But it’s a Monday today and she had to go to work. Before going home, she asked Jill to pick her up at the clinic so they could go to Eric’s. She had a feeling that he won’t talk to her until she made the first move.And though she was a little scared of encountering Logan, her desire to talk to Eric was stronger. And since she was with Jill, maybe Logan won’t do anything bad to her if they met. She had to hold on to that belief since she didn’t want to delay having a talk with Eric any longer. She didn’t want Logan to be more furious if she won’t break up with him now. She regretted asking his mom to tell him that she won’t leave Eric for him. She bit her bottom lip when she imagined how that made her possessive ex realy angry. But she would worry about that later. She came her for Eric and she had to stick to her plan. Anyway sooner or later Logan would know that she had broken up with Eric. She released a sigh.
