Chapter 17

• Logan was taking her home. She was on the passenger seat while his mother was on the backseat. His mother’s driver was driving his dad’s car behind them. She couldn’t forget the shock on his mother’s face when she found them on his bed. She gave them time to “fix” themselves while she waited for them in the living room.
• “Aunt Belle please believe me that nothing happened between us.”
• She was really annoyed with Logan because he didn’t even attempt to help her explain to his mother. He was just quiet and was focusing on the road. As she expected, he also lied to her about her clothes. If his mother didn’t come, he wouldn’t have given them back to her. She didn’t want to look at him because she felt that she was confused with what was happening and what he said in his bedroom before he kissed her. She wanted to forget everything about that now. She needed to think about the consequence of his mother seeing them in a compromising situation. When they were still a couple, he did more extreme things to her body but no one knew about that of course but now his mom saw them. Who would ever think that she was an unwilling participant when she wasn't fighting him when she saw them? It would have been different if his mom saw her fighting him. She would have seen her resisting if she had come two seconds earlier.
