Chapter 7 Identity Exposed
- Darius's voice was low, barely audible to those nearby. Aiden smirked coldly.
- So you called in reinforcements? Fully armed, huh? Alright, let's see how many you can rally!
- About ten minutes later, the security army at the entrance of the spa house was dumbfounded. Dozens of armoured vehicles loaded with army rolled in, some even equipped with heavy weaponry.
- Damn, there must be five or six hundred people here!
- Holy crap, did they bring in a whole battalion!
- Soon after, a reconnaissance battalion of 500 swiftly assembled at the spa house entrance. Two hundred armed personnel secured the perimeter, one hundred maintained order, and two hundred awaited orders outside.
- Damn, they were all just waiting for Darius's command.
- Inside the spa house
- Aiden looked mockingly at Darius.
- So, where are your reinforcements? Haven't they arrived yet?
- Darius calmly sent a voice message from his phone.
- Moments later.
- Rumbling sounds shook the ground as if an earthquake had struck!
- What's going on? What the hell is happening?
- Aiden and his crew were stunned, staring outside the spa house.
- They marched in perfect synchrony, like the rhythmic beat of drums!
- It was akin to a thousand army charging forward like a mighty force!
- What is this?
- Aiden was utterly dumbfounded when they saw the overwhelming number of armies surrounding them.
- His crew, one by one, were equally shocked.
- These were a real army!
- The army from the Garrison!!!
- Rumble, rumble, rumble.
- All the army lined up, sealing off every exit of the spa house.
- Muzzles of dark guns were pointed directly at Aiden and his gang.
- Oh crap!
- Aiden's lackeys dropped their weapons and immediately fell to their knees, clutching their heads.
- A few even got so scared with guns pointed at their heads that they peed themselves on the spot!
- The air was heavy with the pungent, unmistakable odour of urine.
- Seeing things escalate, Aiden quickly called the police.
- Hey, Chief Wallace, someone has brought hundreds of people to cause trouble. Hurry up and bring your team!
- Chief Wallace swiftly gathered over a hundred police officers. Soon, sirens blared across Noverian City, and flashing police lights filled the streets. Curious onlookers gathered, wondering what major incident was unfolding.
- Chief Wallace initially thought it was just an ordinary disturbance.
- His officers, unaware of the situation but knowing they had to act, seized the opportunity eagerly. Each one was eager to prove themselves, waiting for the right moment to shine. The entire squad headed in the direction of the spa house.
- Chief Wallace was utterly dumbfounded when he arrived at the spa house's entrance. He saw 200 soldiers armed with Type 95 automatic rifles, 300 equipped with combat shovels and picks, 20 amphibious combat vehicles, ten tactical trailers, and 20 RPGs.
- "Holy crap, what kind of firepower is this? What's going on here?"
- Wallace Zion wasn't naive. The sight of such a coordinated force left him in no doubt that only someone with significant military influence could assemble it.
- Thinking quickly, Wallace grabbed a megaphone and shouted, "Listen up, turn off the sirens, put away the lights, and retreat the way you came!"
- The police, witnessing their usually composed leader in such a state of urgency, immediately understood the gravity as they saw the ranks of soldiers in their green uniforms ahead.
- With lights off and sirens muted, they executed a swift U-turn and sped away from the scene at a blistering 120 kilometres per hour.
- Aiden stood frozen in disbelief!
- Meanwhile, Darius remained calm. "Make your calls. Call anyone you can. Today, I want to see who dares to come and rescue you!"
- Sure enough, Aiden began calling city leaders and provincial leaders.
- But all he got in response was the same message. "No one can save you from this. Do as they say."
- It was then that Aiden realised how foolish and ignorant he had been.
- At that moment, Darius returned to the store, picked up an antique blue-and-white porcelain vase prominently displayed at the front desk, and asked with a smile, "How much is this thing worth?"
- Aiden was already scared witless! He didn't dare say a word back, trembling in place like a startled kitten, staring at Darius.
- Bam!
- Darius threw the expensive vase to the ground, smashing it into pieces.
- Destroy all these!
- In an instant, the 200 army armed with combat spades and pickaxes, wreaked havoc throughout the spa house, smashing from the first floor to the fourth and then back down again. An hour later, the entire spa house was reduced to rubble.
- Of course, before all this, Kael had already been safely escorted out of the spa house.
- After the smashing was done, Darius calmly lit a cigarette.
- Aiden stands on the ground, desperately slapping his face, and pleading, "Boss, it's my fault! I was wrong! I deserve to die! Just name your price, and we'll pay it. As long as you're not angry anymore!"
- "Heh, heh. You're pretty wealthy, aren't you?
- "Fine, starting today for the next year, you gotta restore this place to its original state every day."
- I'll send someone over to smash it up every day!
- 365 days of smashing, then we'll call it even!
- Darius was furious. The excellent relationship he had with his brothers was all messed up by this guy!
- Aiden's heart was bleeding! He spent several million on the decoration! Smash it every day? He'd go bankrupt!
- But so what? There's still a gun pointed at his head!
- Would he dare say a word against it?
- Report to the War God, Captain Sandy Dome of Iron Seventh Battalion has completed the mission. Please give instructions!
- Darius glanced at Sandy.
- Alright, I'll remember you, Sandy. Take your armies back.
- Salute to the War God!
- Sandy shouted, and all the arms of the Iron Seventh Battalion immediately stood at attention and saluted Darius.
- Darius returned a standard military salute!
- Outside the spa house, Kael, who was waiting beyond the blockade, was still trembling. The incident where the army smashed up the spa house was still vivid in his mind. When Kael was escorted out, his whole brain felt short-circuiting.
- At this moment, Darius approached with a smile.
- Kael, it's all over now. Everything's sorted out.
- Coming back to his senses, Kael hurriedly asked, "Darius, what's going on? Why did so many armies suddenly show up? And I heard them calling you the War God? Are you the War God?"
