Chapter 29 Training day one

• After last night's delicious dinner, I returned home feeling utterly exhausted. The moment I stepped through the door, my eyelids grew heavy, and I collapsed onto the bed, fast asleep.
• When I woke up, I looked around, expecting to see Albert beside me. But he wasn't there. It seemed he had chosen to sleep in another room, a habit that still puzzled me.
• Groggily, I struggled out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. A refreshing bath and brushing my teeth helped shake off the sleepiness. I changed into the elegant outfit the maid had thoughtfully laid out for me.
