Chapter 28 The Engagement

• It was already 5 pm, nearing the time Albert said he would pick me up. One thing I knew about Albert was his punctuality; he was always on time. With that in mind, I sprang into action, deciding to start getting ready.
• I left my hair to the maid, who was skilled at styling it and stepped into the shower. After a refreshing bath, I blow-dried my hair and carefully slipped into the stunning dress the maid had brought earlier.
• As I admired myself in the mirror, I couldn't help but smile. The satin blue dress was exquisite, classy, and perfectly fitted.
