Chapter 15

• The scent of coffee pulled Juliee from sleep.
• For a moment, she forgot where she was—until the cold concrete wall across from her eyes reminded her this wasn’t her apartment. The couch was firm beneath her. A pillow that smelled like expensive cologne was tucked under her cheek. Her sweatshirt had ridden up sometime in the night, and the blanket covering her had slipped halfway to the floor.
