Chapter 26 Night Ambush
- The dense forest was alive with the scent of damp earth and rotting leaves. A faint mist curled between ancient, gnarled trees, their twisted branches clawing at the sky. Smoke mixed with the iron scent of blood, and the occasional wolf’s snarl echoed like a whisper of tornado.
- Near the ruined tents, a young man stood with an arrogant sneer. His fine robes were slightly disheveled, but his posture carried an air of untouchable superiority. This was Chu Wei’s brother, the so-called young master of a certain family or whatever.
