Chapter 33 Thirty-Two

• "Honestly, I don't know how I will answer your questions because honestly, I also don't know the answer." She started playing with his hair. "I don't know why among the many men in the world who has the same age as mine, I fell in love with an old man." Rafael snorted as if he did not agree with what she said which made her chuckle but she continued to speak. "You are possessive, gets jealous easily, rude, sullen, sometimes stupid but what can I do?", She took his hand that is caressing her back and brought it to her chest and let him feel the fast and loud beating of her heart, "this beat for you and only you." She said as she smiled at him sweetly and lovingly. "I never once thought that I can fall in love with someone so quickly but that's really how love is, isn't it? Confusing and it's hard to understand. It's like a mystery that is very hard to solve." Her grip on his hand, which is still resting on her chest, tightened. "But then, love is not like a dictionary where everything needs to have a definition. Because love does not need to be understood, you just need to feel it." She pressed their foreheads together. "Just like my love for you. I have already stopped looking for answers on why I fell in love with you, I just followed my feelings. But, I may not able to find the answer to when, how, and why I loved you but there is one thing I can be sure of. It is that, you are the one my heart beats for and that you are the only one who owns it." She said wholeheartedly, expressing her true feelings.
• It's true. She can't explain how she fell in love with him, she just felt it. She just felt that she was already gradually falling in love with Rafael. At first, it was just a simple crush. She's just doing it for her brother and of course, she likes sex. And she thought that was all there was to it but she was wrong. The moment he confessed his feelings towards her, she felt the deepening of her feelings for him until it deepened even more until she realized that she was already in love with Rafael.
