Chapter 14 It Is A Small World

• Jin Zhishen arrived early in the morning at Jiang Xiaoxiao’s place just when Bao and her woke up.
• The man was wearing a set of fitting suits that showed off his body. He stood tall and with an air of nobility. His delicate facial feature was like an exquisite art piece with thin lips touching each other and forming a line. He looked cold and stern but his eyes were so attractive that no one could take their eyes off him.
• Jiang Xiaoxiao couldn’t take her eyes off him.
• It took her a while to react and replied, “Mr. Jin, you are early today.”
• Jin Zhishen seemed cheerful as his reply was a little chirpy, “I have brought breakfast for you and Bao.”
• Then he lifted the bag in his hand and waved it at her.
• Jiang Xiaoxiao took the bag immediately and said, “Come on in. I will plate the food.”
• Jin Zhishen nodded and walked into the house.
• Just then, Bao came out of the room. He seemed like he wasn’t fully awake. He was looking cute and adorable with his sleepy eyes and bed head.
• He completely ignored his dad as he turned to Jiang Xiaoxiao and said in a gentle voice, “Hug hug.”
• Jiang Xiaoxiao smiled and carried him while sorting out the plates with the other hand and walked out of the kitchen.
• Jin Zhishen went up to help her immediately and glared coldly at Bao, “Ms. Jiang, you don’t have to pamper him like that.”
• Jiang Xiaoxiao didn’t mind at all, “It’s okay. He is so obedient. Plus, he isn’t heavy at all.”
• Bao stuck his tongue out at his dad as he snorted and hugged Jiang Xiaoxiao even more tightly.
• Jiang Xiaoxiao couldn't help but laugh at their interaction. She carried Bao and sat him down on her lap as she said gently, “What would you like to have? I will bring them to you.”
• Bao lifted his finger and said, “I want that milk.”
• Jiang Xiaoxiao brought her the milk as he had asked for.
• Her pretty and perfect side view could be seen from this angle.
• She looked so bright and beautiful when she smiled with her slightly curved lips. Her nose was cute and sharp. Her eyes were so watery that they seemed to reflect lights.
• She did not wear much makeup on her silky skin yet she looked elegant. The simple yet tasteful light cream-colored long dress she wore presented her gentle disposition and traced her excellent figure perfectly as it displayed her curvature and showing off her small waist that seemed so delicate.
• Jin Zhishen was captivated by her to a point that he wanted to imprint the girl into his eyes.
• Jiang Xiaoxiao seemed to sense someone looking at her so she lifted her head subconsciously.
• He managed to conceal his adoring gaze before their eyes met. He asked her calmly, “Is there anything wrong?”
• “Oh, nothing.”
• Jiang Xiaoxiao looked elsewhere and was in doubt.
• Was it my hallucination?
• I am quite certain that someone was staring at me just now.
• 20 minutes later, Jiang Xiaoxiao and Bao left the house together with Jin Zhishen after breakfast.
• Jin Zhishen dropped Jiang Xiaoxiao somewhere near her office.
• Just before she got out of the car, Jin Zhishen told her suddenly, “Oh right, Ms. Jiang. Bao won’t be coming over tonight. His grandparents are back and they missed him.”
• For an instant, Jiang Xiaoxiao was stunned but replied immediately, “Ah, sure. No problem.”
• Bao was unhappy, “I want Aunt Xiaoxiao.”
• Jin Zhishen ignored him and said to Jiang Xiaoxiao, “If you miss him, just call the number Bao gave to you.”
• “Okay.”
• Even though Jiang Xiaoxiao was reluctant to part with Bao, she still smiled and kissed Bao goodbye before heading into the office.
• It was peak hour in the office, the lifts were all packed. So, Jiang Xiaoxiao took the stairs instead.
• When she arrived at the office, she saw everyone was in a heated discussion.
• He Lin went to her immediately when she saw her, “Xiaoxiao, we are in trouble.”
• “What trouble?” Jiang Xiaoxiao was confused.
• He Lin showed her an article on her phone, “Look at this…”
• Jiang Xiaoxiao took a glance and saw the company’s forum on the handphone.
• There was a discussion about the news that Zhuoyue Creative would be bought over by some big organization.
• Jiang Xiaoxiao was taken aback, “When did this happen?”
• He Lin said, “Just this morning. It was rumored that the Lan Group had wanted to acquire us.”

• The lady standing beside him was fashionable. She wore a tight-fit red dress and it showed off her curvy figure. She looked elegant in her heels and delicate make up however she gave off an air of arrogance and dominance.
• Jiang Xiaoxiao saw the duo and she immediately felt her chest tightened.
