• Tripp’s angry voice echoed in the forest. There was no ounce of hesitation in him.
• Ari stopped to a halt, eyes widening in shock as she turned to look at Tripp. She saw the look in her husband’s eyes reflected possession and determination to claim her, and that terrified her as if his words could break her.
• “Tripp, don’t!” She wanted to stop whatever Tripp was planning, but he ignored the warning and let his self-control slip off in him.
