• Ari woke up early despite not getting a good sleep last night. She thought of the deal she had with Tripp. She would do anything for her father even if she had to deal with her self-centered husband.
• After she dropped by the Clereigh’s, she headed to the hospital carrying sliced fruits in the container, cups of coffee, and pastries. She wanted to be there before the doctor’s round. She knew about the diagnostics done to Tripp and his treatment too. Perhaps, she wanted to be there for him.
• She knocked softly on the door, and when she heard nothing from the inside, she helped herself in.
