Chapter 83

• Daz sat in his apartment, alone as ever.. The glow of the television casting flickering shadows across the room. His phone buzzed on the coffee table, breaking the silence. He picked it up and saw Kimberly's name flashing on the screen. His heart sank. He hadn't spoken to her in days, and he knew this call wouldn't be anything but unpleasant.
• He hesitated for a moment before answering. "Hello?"
