• What the hell was happening? This couldn’t be real, could it? Had I finally lost my mind? Right before my eyes, Ryan had transformed into a wolf — not just a wolf, but a freakishly large one that seemed to take up the entire hallway. Something I've never envisioned he could actually shift into.
• A low, menacing growl echoed through the empty building, sending a chill down my spine and freezing me in place. My jaw hit the floor as I gawked at the monster in front of me. Had I been transported into a horror movie, or was this some kind of twisted nightmare?
